Spent 20 minutes strolling through the rose garden down the street from my house. I would have stayed longer, but was not properly dressed for the cold snap. The garden has life cycles and seasons just like people. Different varieties of flowers in different stages and seasons of life. Each beautiful in their own special way, from a newly sprouted bud to the last rose of summer. Found this lovely garden circle donated or gifted to the garden with her poem on it. Her name was ... Myrtle, how pretty... flowering Myrtle. It's a pretty name that doesnt get much respect these days. And I saw a little girl with her parents and she was trying to smell each and every flower. And lastly, I saw a couple getting some shots right after their wedding . I watched and snapped a few on my phone from a distance and noticed they missed the beautiful bridal wreath behind a stone bench. I asked if they took shots there and they didn't know that's what the plant was so I suggested the shot and they let me grab a photo with my phone. I never got a bride with bridal wreath. If I had been the photographer I would have asked her to place her hands on her lap, bit I wasn't going to push it with her photographers ( who appeared to be college age) And she was a beautiful natural red head which was great in contrast to the blue water. Then I decided to get out of the way and head home. But the groom was impressed by how lovely his bride looked seated in front of a cascading bush of delicate black prom white flowers.
