I opted for no wardrobe change and finished the final dress at 3:00 the day of the wedding. ?

The evolution of a wedding dress: the one I wore on the big day was actually the third dress I designed. The original full ballgown didn’t quite feel like me. The second (BHL Anna bodice plus skirt) felt too casual. I finally landed on the # colettepeony bodice by @colettepatterns coupled with a skirt from a @simplicity_creative_group pattern. I’m super pleased with the final look - elegant, simple, classic. The ivory & silver brocade from @moodfabrics was stunning (I used the wrong side of the fabric). ballgown wedding # modernseamstress
